Everything you need to know

A valid driving licence (EU licences and most international licences are fine), a passport or ID card, a credit or debit card to pay for the booking online, and a card in the main driver's name for the deposit held at pick-up. Drivers should be 21 or over — under-25s pay a small young-driver supplement.

When you book. The rental is paid in full online by card on Stripe's secure page, so there's nothing more to pay for it at the desk. The refundable deposit is separate: it's held on a card in the main driver's name at pick-up and released when the car comes back.

Bookings are non-refundable: there's no refund if you cancel, shorten the rental or don't collect the car. To change the dates, the car class or the driver details, reply to your confirmation email or call us. Changes are subject to availability and may change the price. If a car of the class you booked can't be provided, you get the nearest available alternative or a full refund.

Pickup is at Park East, at Malta International Airport: out of arrivals, turn right and straight on for a few minutes. Send us your flight number and delays are tracked so you don't have to.

The left, like the UK: all the cars on offer are right-hand drive. Most visitors are comfortable within ten minutes, and automatics make it even easier.

Absolutely. Take the Ċirkewwa–Mġarr ferry with the car, or collect a car in Victoria instead. Just mention Gozo when you book.
