Getting to Qawra from the airport
About 35 minutes from the airport. Qawra sits on the far side of the point from Buġibba, and the two run into each other, so directions that mention one usually get you close to the other.
Driving and parking in Qawra
Generally manageable, and easier the further you get from the promenade. The hotels along the front tend to have their own parking; the Salina side is quieter and rarely a problem. As everywhere on the island, evenings near the restaurants are tighter than afternoons.

Salina's salt pans and the quieter stretch towards Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq are minutes away.
Sandy beaches north
Għadira is about 20 minutes, Golden Bay a little further across country.
The rest of the island
Valletta is around 30 minutes, Mdina about 25 — both easy half-days from here.

There's no desk in Qawra — collection is at Park East inside Malta International Airport, about 35 minutes away. Walk out of arrivals, turn right and carry straight on for a few minutes; the car is waiting there.
