Getting to Qawra from the airport

About 35 minutes from the airport. Qawra sits on the far side of the point from Buġibba, and the two run into each other, so directions that mention one usually get you close to the other.

Driving and parking in Qawra

Generally manageable, and easier the further you get from the promenade. The hotels along the front tend to have their own parking; the Salina side is quieter and rarely a problem. As everywhere on the island, evenings near the restaurants are tighter than afternoons.

What's the difference between Qawra and Buġibba?
They're two sides of the same headland and merge into one another. Qawra tends to be a little quieter, particularly along the Salina side; Buġibba has the denser grid of bars and restaurants.
Is parking easier here than Sliema?
Considerably. It's still busiest in the evenings near the seafront, but nothing like the Sliema and Paceville squeeze.
